Rock-star James' latest Bollywood song, 'Bebasi', for Anubhav Sinha's next film, 'Warning', is, reportedly, expected to go on air from this month though the film will be released 22 March.
Popular band Nagarbaul's frontman, James lent his voice for the song last year in a music studio of Mumbai. However, the shooting of the song was completed Wednesday at the Kamalistan Studio of Mumbai Film City. The video of the song features James as performer.
'Bebasi', which has been composed by music-trio Meet-Bros-Anjaan, belongs to the mellow-rock genre. James' characteristic psychedelic rock style of rendition is the highlight of the song.
According to James, 'Bebasi' will be accepted by his fans. "The song is different and I have high hopes for it. The video of the song also features 3D technology which will be interesting for the viewers," he said.
"The video of the song is expected to be aired in the middle of February on different satellite channels," he added.
However, this is not for the first time, James has rendered playback song for a Bollywood film. Earlier, the singer lent his voice for a playback in 'Gangster'. 'Bheegi bheegi', 'Chal chaley' and 'Rishety' are already popular Hindi playbacks sung by James in the movies 'Gangster', 'Woh Lamhe' and 'Life in a Metro'.
'Warning' is a big budget film, mostly shot in New Zealand and Fiji.
James is now staying out of the country for a month-long trip. In his trip, he is expected to perform at different venues of London, Australia and New Zealand.
