Anna Karenina was the toast of the Art Directors Guild Awards on the weekend after taking home the night's top prize.
The drama saw off competition from Argo, Django Unchained, Les
Miserables and Lincoln to win best production design in a period film
during the 17th annual ceremony in Los Angeles.
Accepting the award, designer Sarah Greenwood, who has worked on
various projects with the movie's director Joe Wright for eight years,
thanked the filmmaker for his "mad visions" and inviting her to be part
of his team.
Ang Lee's Life of Pi won in the fantasy film category, while James Bond epic Skyfall was celebrated in the contemporary genre.
US shows American Horror Story, Girls, and Game of Thrones
triumphed in TV, and Star Trek veteran Herman Zimmerman received the
Lifetime Achievement Award.
